Rough Terrain Forklift – Class VII Training Course

Course Description:

This is a fully comprehensive course designed for experienced and inexperienced Rough Terrain Forklifts operators to develop the skills and knowledge necessary for a variety of responsibilities and functions involved in the operation and maintenance of the Rough Terrain Forklifts. The training enforces the safety of the pedestrian and the operator. Pre-start up inspection and startup safety procedures, routine maintenance practice, and operating techniques are examined. This course is comprised of intensive classroom instruction, including discussion and a written test, as well as hands-on practical training and evaluation. At the conclusion of this program students should be able to demonstrate safe operation of forklift as required by the OSHA – Occupational Safety and Health Administration Standard CFR- 29 -1910-178.

School Equipment: Students will have the opportunity to use the following school equipment as required throughout the program: Rough Terrain Class: VII.
