Scissor Lift Training Course
Course Description:
This is a fully comprehensive course designed for experienced and inexperienced Scissor lift truck operators to develop the skills and knowledge necessary for a variety of responsibilities and functions involved in the operation and maintenance of the Scissor lift. The training enforces the safety of the pedestrian and the operator. Pre-start up inspection and startup safety procedures, and operating techniques are examined. This course is comprised of intensive classroom instruction, including a safety video, discussion and a written test workbook, as well as hands-on practical training and evaluation. At the conclusion of this program students should be able to demonstrate safe operation of Scissor Lift as required by the OSHA – Occupational Safety and Health Administration Standard CFR- 29 -1910.
Upon successful completion of the course, the operator will be presented with a Scissor lift certificate and license as proof of training.
Course Duration: 1-2 hours Theory and at end of course an Operator Evaluation Test.
