On Sunday, November 17, 70-year-old James Zako was killed after his Mercedes collided with an illegally operated forklift being driven with its forks out.
The accident happened at an intersection near Las Olas Beach in Fort Lauderdale. Zako was driving a Mercedes on a busy road when he collided with the forklift. Witnesses say the vehicle’s long forks were sticking out into oncoming traffic.
